Simulation
Term explanation
A simulation encapsulates a data container that connects orders, vehicles, constraints, templates and all metadata necessary to optimise routes and allocate jobs to vehicles. Simulations usually have temporal boundaries (i.e. a start and end time) related to field operations. A project can have an unlimited number of simulations, and simulations can overlap in time. Simulations are used to model time-bound operations in the field within a specific time period, such as a day or a shift. Typically, a simulation should be created for each day.
